Review: Claimed (Club Sin #1) by Stacey Kennedy

Presley Flynn is ripe to experience her secret fantasies . . . and Dmitri Pratt wants nothing more than to fulfill them. Once inside the elite Club Sin in Las Vegas, Presley is nervous but excited—and determined to surrender to her every desire. Dmitri is her Master, and his touch is like fire. With each careful, calculated caress, he unleashes her wildest inhibitions, giving her unimagined pleasure.

Presley is different than the other submissives Dimitri has mastered. The BDSM lifestyle is new to her, and so are the games they play at Club Sin. From the start, Presley stirs emotions in him far beyond the raw purity between a dom and the perfect sub. For the ecstasy they share goes beyond the dungeon igniting a passion that claims the very depths of the heart.

Chalk up another hit for Stacey Kennedy! Claimed is the first installment in the Club Sin series and will delight readers of contemporary erotic romance. Kennedy’s graceful writing style draws the reader into her story with believable and relatable characters.

Always wanting to do her best and please others leaves Presley Flynn with a broken heart. After dumping her cheating fiancé, Presley is ready to start over, and the first major step is joining Club Sin. Master Dmitri Pratt, wealthy, sexy, and gorgeous, owns Club Sin. Attracted to shy Presley on their first meeting, Dmitri decides that he will be the one to train her. He thoroughly enjoys Presley’s reactions to the activities in the club and takes special care of her during their first encounters together, which endeared Dmitri to me. Presley, although new to the lifestyle, is the prefect combination of brave and scared, which I really liked. The chemistry between these two is electric. While the BDSM play is light, the scenes are well conceived, executed, intense, and extremely hot. Before Presley, Dmitri never cared about his submissives outside of the club, but she is different, and he needs to know why. Dmitri and Presley’s heartfelt conversations are realistic and beautiful, making me fall in love with this couple. Some of these conversations will have you laughing out loud and others are so poignant that you will be wiping tears from your eyes.

The potent combination of honest conversations, sexy BDSM play, and character growth make Claimed the perfect kickoff to a new series. As with anything written by Kennedy, I’m looking forward to future books in the Club Sin series.
