The second book in The Serafina: Sin City series is a riveting read full of suspense and romance.

Devastated when her past finally catches up with her, Ellie decides leaving Jay is the only way to protect him from dangerous people from her fast, even if it does rip her heart to shreds.  Jay Wentworth’s world is shattered when Ellie leaves him a goodbye letter. He would do anything for Ellie, so he teams up with Ellie’s boss Wyatt Christiansen to find her because Ellie is family at the casino and they take care of their own. Jay will move heaven and earth to save her, but if she can’t trust in his love it may be too late for them.

This fast paced plot keeps the reader entertained with tension building suspense, action and romance. The story comes to life with vibrant images that have the reader feeling as if they are part of the story.  The characters are strong and compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The chemistry between Ellie and Jay radiates heat from every page with red hot sex scenes, but the romance has a few rough edges that must be smoothed over before this couple can achieve their happily ever after.  The author makes the characters seem life like and real which means that the reader gets totally caught up and emotionally involved in their story.

The Las Vegas casino setting makes a great background for this series and group of characters, it adds depth and intrigue. I found this story to be a wonderful and enjoyable story with great charismatic characters that capture the heart and imagination and I definitely want to read more about the Serafina characters.Sensual Surrender
