Title: A Vampire's Salvation
Francesca Marie Stewart has never wanted any man as much as she wants Jake Rios. His chiseled body and dark, intensely masculine energy draw her like a moth to a flame. But Frankie has been burned before, and now a mysterious figure from her troubled past has resurfaced with a terrifying new threat. Can she trust Jake not only with her heart but with her very life?
Jake’s hunger to possess this beautiful redhead goes beyond searing desire. He’s a vampire, and his very existence depends on bonding with a mate. He aches to ravish Frankie, but he must take it slow—for what he will ask of her will require profound sacrifice even as it gives her unimaginable pleasure. And once he has claimed her—body and soul—Jake will go to any lengths to protect her.

A Vampire’s Salvation delivers fast paced romance and sweet sultry sex as vampire Jake Rios has his sights set on Francesca Marie Stewart. Both work for the governor and Jake has known that Frankie was his life mate since first eyeing the woman.
Due to Frankie’s tumultuous past, Jake decided to take the courtship at a snails pace-even if Frankie hadn’t realized she was being courted in a non-traditional way. Jake surmised that getting to know his mate on a professional level thus allowing for her to become accustom to him would behoove him in the long run. When the two finally come together passion explodes and the sex is steamy.
Virna DePaul blends vampiric lore and modern romance as she weaves a story of new found love. I admire the expressive style of writing Ms. DePaul delivered as she characterized two people deserving of happiness in the now and ever after. A Vampires Salvation gave true meaning to good things come to those who wait patiently, as Frankie and Jake united. The author wrote strong minded characters as each conveyed their individuality and their coupling. I was glad that Frankie’s character, although completely in love with Jake, did not lose her independence, as Ms. DePaul gave her self-worth and strength of character.
I look forward to subsequent installment in the lives of Jake and Frankie. A Vampire’s Salvation has made me a fan of Virna DePaul.
