Chelsea, a ski lift operator by day and artist by night,  has had a secret crush on local player Jud since she meet him the previous year.  In that time she had seen him with numerous women but rarely the same one twice.  While she is attracted to him and knows she could love him, she doesn’t want to become just a notch on his bedpost so she keeps them just friends.

Jud has had his eye on Chels for quite a while.  He is a member of the ski patrol but his dream is to work at a publishing house.  Now that he is ready to settle down, he decides it is time to make his move and show her just what she’s been missing.  As things heat up in the snowy mountains Jud and Chelsea have to decide if they want to follow their dreams together or put an end to their budding romance.

I enjoyed this player meets good girl story.  While I thought there were a few clichéd moments the characters were engaging and fun to read about.  I liked how Chelsea would call Jud out or just not take his crap.  While she wasn’t immune to his charms, she just didn’t let it fog her thinking or stop her from laying it out to him when needed.  Jud was great too.  He was romantic and thoughtful, always considering Chelsea’s feelings no matter what was going on.

There was a lot of sex in this story.  At only 123 pages long, the sex scenes were numerous and varied.  It was a very hot read.  Even with all the steaminess I did feel that there was enough story in there to keep me interested in what was happening with the characters.  I wanted them to get it on cause Jud is very creative and hot but I also enjoyed the scenes where they are getting to know each other as a couple.

I felt like the ending was a little rushed and slightly unbelievable but I did love the epilogue at the end.  I love epilogues in general and this one was no different. Getting to see a bit into the characters happily ever after is nice and always leaves me happy.
