Emma Stevens has a secret. She bakes up premonitions in her cake batter every Monday for the bachelors of Buttermilk Falls. How she does it is a mystery. Jason, a Miami reporter, comes to Buttermilk Falls to get the scoop on the magic happenings called Batter Up night at the Sugar Spoon Bakery. What he wasn’t counting on was sparks that ensue with Emma herself!

I loved the magical aspect of conjuring up a soul mate for the bachelors! Why did it only work on the men though??? The girls need help too I am sure! I was grabbed by the wonderment from the beginning! The story was pretty fast paced and although predictable, I enjoyed the ride we took! The characters were very likeable and some of the side romances made it a fun read that I highly recommend!
