Review: Blue Blood’s Trifecta (Wind Warriors #6) by Cheyenne Meadows

When past meets present things begin to sizzle.

When an emergency call goes out, FBI agent Ryan tags along with his sister on a Wind Warrior mission. Along the way, he meets Tempest, a beautiful female pilot who stirs his desires and Rogue, a former Army buddy. Seeing Rogue again brings out feelings Ryan doesn’t understand and isn’t prepared to accept.

Their old rivalry returns as both men want Tempest, who happens to be Rogue’s employee.

The mission that had brought the three of them together comes back to haunt them all with danger hanging over the head of every Wind Warrior and their loved ones.

Can Ryan work through his newfound interest in Rogue even as he’s falling for Tempest? Will they pull together and unite in time to save each other from a hired assassin?

On a mission for the Wind Warriors, an old rivalry sparks up between Rogue and Ryan because they both want Tempest but the mission that brought them all together comes back to haunt them  in this exciting erotic contemporary romance.

Ryan and Rogue’s rivalry sparks other desires as well which has Ryan running in the other direction and Tempest doesn’t know how she will ever be able to choose between Ryan and Rogue and the reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as the emotional turmoil bombards the senses. The characters are strong charismatic and demand attention from the very beginning and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of thrilling scenes and passion as the sex scenes start out hot and quickly become explosive with some m/m, m/f, m/f/m and m/m/f scenes.

The story starts off with some pulse pounding action as Ryan joins his sister to assist a Wind Warrior team and continues to keep readers on the edge with lots of exciting action scenes as the bad guys target them all. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination and vivid imagery brings the story to life while the well orchestrated events ensure there is never a dull moment between the action scenes, the passionate scenes and the personal scenes which adds lots of depth to the story. Spicing the story up even more is the humor and snarky dialogue between all the characters, but especially Rogue and Ryan.

I was completely riveted to the pages from the very beginning and I have to say captivated by Ryan and Rogue’s relationship progression. Ghost – the newest team member has also caught my interest and I am looking forward to reading his story.
