I chose this book on the premise alone: the werebunny strippers with vampires who protect their interests for free feeding on the sexually sated customers after the party goes down just was too good to resist. Add in a ‘hunter’ who was alternately turned on and horrified by their actions and now seeks to ‘protect’ men from their voracious appetites and I kept hearing Elmer Fudd’s voice in my head wanting to “hunt the wascally wabbits”.

But this story was so much more! Poor Cliff, all he wanted was to destroy the nest of werebunnies, then he added vampires on his list of things to eradicate.  When he meets Elliot, a bit of a soft “girlie man” who claims to have all of the information that Cliff needs to get the bunnies, and even appears with money to spend on the traps and trip wires: while not an ideal situation, Cliff uses his information to start his plan in motion.

More than a little obsessed, Cliff puts all of his knowledge and his not insignificant rage into his plan: blowing up the bunnies and catching the remaining escapees with bombs will solve his problem here in the states.  Then he decided a quick flight to Russia to get the new nest will sate his appetite for revenge.

Unfortunately, Cliff didn’t believe in Zombies, nor realize that the cupcake sprinkle factory the bunnies owned was staffed by them – and his first encounter was rather messy.  Not too heavy on the steamy scenes, although there was a unique use of a trampoline and a wall: this little story was cleverly penned and full of moments of funny.
