After accidentally being turned into a vampire, Alex Moore discovers she’s also one of the Grigori, sworn enemies of the Undead which now puts her smack in the middle of a war with no clue and only one hope of survival – Julian, a Knight of the Cloak in this riveting urban fantasy romance.

Julian is sworn to enforce the code that the Undead live by but when it becomes obvious that there is more going on than he’s being told, he takes on protecting Alex from everyone. The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement and intrigue of Alex and Julian’s romance as they try to stay one step ahead of everyone else and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, action and passion. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning while Julian’s and Alex’s sizzling attraction and rocky relationship adds lots of spice to the story.

The well orchestrated events draw the reader into a fascinating world of the Undead and the Grigori – those with strong psychic abilities – a world full of intriguing characters and interesting and unique elements. The well written scenes and details capture the imagination as spine tingling excitement ensures that the reader’s never have a dull moment with enemies coming at Julian and Alex from every direction and battles of every kind including inner emotional ones that adds lots of depth to the story.

I was completely caught up in the story from the very beginning and I am looking forward to finding out what happens next in the battle with Alex and Julian against everyone else that would like to control Alex and her emerging psychic abilities.
