What a great conclusion! I can safely say this trilogy has a happy ending for most involved in this story and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more.

The villain is revealed at the beginning of the story. There is no build up or hiding of whom it is any longer. The story is more “Will they catch the villain before the plan is carried out or Will he get away” type of story. I really enjoyed knowing who the bad person was after the suspense of the last two books. The motive also was revealed and it was very surprising to our main characters. The Keiths from the last book are finally sentenced in front of the council as well as a challenge is issued for the Arena in this story.

Mia and Korum have yet another hurdle in their relationship and it was nice reading about how they handle it and their various insecurities along the way. Both have to deal with physical as well as emotional injuries the villain deals them but I think they handle it quite well. I also loved the fact that Mia’s family was in this story more also. Mia once again shows how strong she is even when faced with memory loss. Korum really grows in this final installment too. The reader is shown just how much he cares for Mia and how he is starting to care about humans and not see them as inferior to him and his people.

After the travel to the Krinar’s home planet I must admit to wanting to know more about the planet and people. I also am very curious about the Elder Lahur. He is the oldest living Krinar and I want learn more about him and his experiences as well as see him find a Charl also.

While this is the end of the trilogy for Korum and Mia it sounds like there are other stories planned for us about the Krinar. I can’t wait to see what is in store for us next and will definitely check these out once they are ready.
