Review: Collar Me in Paris (Atlanta BDSM #2) by Sidney Bristol

What begins as Clay’s first family vacation with his new wife quickly dives into disaster. He may be the submissive in their relationship, but he’s no shy violet. Bianca has taught him the quickest way to turn her on is a challenge, so he’s throwing down the gauntlet.

Bianca butts heads with not just her brothers but her husband when the family torturing begins. But the joke is on him. She’s ready to put him through the most erotic misery of all. In public, at a night club and all over the city, she’ll show him who is Dominant in their relationship until he’s screaming for more.

Their relaxing Paris vacation turns into a mad dash through the ancient streets, a competition of wills and a new exploration of what it takes to make their relationship work. From bondage, discipline and very public orgasms to navigating the Métro, family feuds and overcoming the language barrier, they’re going to redefine the word fun.

A vacation in Paris is a once in a lifetime experience that should be slowly savored and thoroughly enjoyed. Bianca’s highly competitive family doesn’t do slow. Her brothers are also so competitive they manage to suck the fun out of vacations in Bianca’s opinion. Every vacation they race from sight to sight looking for the clue that will lead them to the next.

Bianca’s new husband Clay wants more than anything to make Bianca the happiest woman alive. He also wants to be a part of her family. Clay mistakenly believes that the family vacation race is the best way to accomplish both. His bumble makes their vacation a naughty adventure they will never forget while participating in the family race for fun and not for the sole purpose of winning.

It took me a couple of chapters to get into Bianca. She initially struck me as a whiney pouty bitch. The more I read her and her family I quickly figured out that she is quite justified in her feelings towards the “race.” I truly enjoyed reading Clay and Bianca’s duel relationships dynamics. She is his Mistress and his wife. Clay is the submissive and husband. They have found a way to make their relationship work even if they hit a few bumps in the road. We all know the benefits of make-up sex. For Clay and Bianca their small woes are easily worked out with some hot punishment sex.

I would recommend Collar Me in Paris to the seasoned BDSM reader, unless you’re like me and are very curious about the unknown. Vanilla Vanessa found herself having to Google a few things. I found it to be a learning experience though. I really do like to broaden my horizons. The look on my husband’s face while I was scoping some of these images was priceless.

This book works as a stand-alone in this series.
