Review: Count Me In by Paige Thomas

Features characters from Starstruck.

Rock star Ricky Bradshaw is simply going through the motions. Though surrounded by people—many of whom are good friends—he feels alone, empty. Then he finds a naked fan in his bed, and figures…why not? He’ll show the gorgeous woman exactly how he earned his sex-symbol status while losing himself for a few hours in soft curves, hot flesh and sweaty sex.

Chelsea Wainwright has never wanted for anything. Her life has been easy—until now. After one devastating diagnosis, she’s living on borrowed time and making every second count. With only weeks left, Chelsea’s crossed every item off her to-do list save for one—a single night of wild, raw, uninhibited sex with the most famous drummer of the twenty-first century.
What’s the old expression? Saving the best for last? Oh yeah. That.

Count Me In is an enticing contemporary erotic romance. Paige Thomas pulls you into this story with her emotionally compelling characters. Chelsea, who is terminally ill, is working her way through her bucket list. The last item on her list is hot steamy sex with her favorite rock star, Ricky Bradshaw. At the same time, Ricky is grieving the death of his father. Thomas with her powerful storytelling voice portrays the feelings of sadness and loss these characters are suffering. The sex is scorching hot, and the palpable emotions their intimacy evokes touches on many levels. As Ricky and Chelsea say their goodbyes, each is content to know that they have helped the other. Memorable characters and hot passionate sex makes Count Me In a delectable evening’s entertainment.
