Title: Covert Desires
Rowe is a Sub Type Five—a prophet—so her future should be laid out in front of her, clear as the stars in the night sky. But since Type Fives can’t remember their visions once they wake, the only thing she’s certain of is her overwhelming attraction to her partner, Jack. And that the desire seems one-sided. Jack does everything he can to put space between them.
After working undercover together to bring down a militia group, she discovers she got that one wrong though. Some hot encounters reveal that Jack wants her as much as she wants him. But they’ll have to survive the final mission and discover the identity of its mastermind before she finds out what their future holds.

Rowe keeps readers on their toes in this thrilling sci-fi romance. Rowe is a prophet but she can’t remember her visions and she wants Jack, but the attraction seems one sided until some hot encounters reveal that Jack wants her just as much as she wants him. But in order to find out what the future holds for them, they will have to survive their final mission and discover the identity of the mastermind.
This fast paced and smooth flowing novella is filled with suspense, drama, humor and romance. The author describes the story with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and spine tingling tension builds as Rowe and Jack get closer to finding out who the mastermind is. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The chemistry between Jack and Rowe radiates from every page and the frequent sex is hot and steamy. I must say that while Jack is a hot hero, I was quite taken with Rowe and her unusual personality and her take on life, it’s almost like she goes at high speed and takes everyone right along with her and you better keep up which draws the reader right into the mission and makes them feel as if they are part of it.
This novella is a thrilling read with a few surprises and some humor to keep the reader well entertained even though it over much too quickly.
