300 Review

There are so many things happening in this book that I’m torn as to how to address them. The cover is awesome. The plot and story line are amazing. But I felt like we were learning background information without truly understanding it or having a conclusion to it. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed reading this and will most likely find a way to continue reading this author’s work. I’ll try really hard NOT to spoil anything in this review….

Dalir is a warrior prince from Alandia. Alandia is a dimension consisting of ancients who possess the power to shift (time travel), but only toward the future, not the past. While defending his fiances honor in Alandia, Dalir did something that got him exiled to another dimension, wiping his memory of home and how to get back there. (Stay with me). While exiled, Dalir formed a group of military men to help find his brother (this is part of the whole exile thing) and save lives. While in the Earthly dimension, Dalir is seen by a human woman, Ari. This is unheard of because he can’t be seen by anyone else in this dimension. Needless to say, there is major chemistry between the two and romance is in the air. But this isn’t just a romance novel, Dalir is still determined to find his brother and it looks like Ari can help him.

Without giving anything else away, I’m gonna stop there in describing the plot/story line. But I WILL continue on my confusion. While we’re finding out why Dalir is searching for his brother, we meet these other military men working with Dalir. We learn just enough background information to make it work, but I still feel like I’m missing something. Then we get to learn a little more about Ari’s background, and again, I feel like it’s not a complete background, especially when the poo hits the fan and Ari’s vision start taking her to other dimensions.

There is SOOOOOO much potential with this story and the characters that I feel like I HAVE to stick with it, just so that I can better understand it if nothing else.

Looks like this novel is part of a series that has already been published (1 and 2), but this isn’t listed as a .5 or prequel of that series. It looks like the previously published series is about the military men that I referenced earlier. Ok, so I’ll have to pick those up now. I’d still like to know if this is meant as a prequel or ….????
