Title: Dangerously Hers
Jess hates aliens. After the invasion that destroyed Earth, the extraterrestrial bastards sold her to a brothel as a sex slave. She may have escaped but the old memories and fears still linger in the dark corners of her mind. Supposedly Sonis is just the place for her—somewhere safe, where she can heal and start fresh. She’s almost hopeful…until she meets Rasha, her new boss.
Rasha, Captain of the Sonis Royal Guard, is a warrior through and through. He’s huge, sinfully sexy and could have any woman on Sonis—but the woman he wants is Jess. He’s very much an alien and Jess knows she should hate him or at least be wary, but whenever he’s around, she loses control. She tells herself it’s only sex—amazing, mind-blowing sex like nothing else she’s ever experienced—but there’s something about Rasha that shakes her soul. The feel of his skin against hers, the look in his eyes as he touches her—they make her want to believe it’s possible to find love and begin again.

Finally Jess gets her story and not a moment too soon. Even though I don’t always like some of the female characters at first I always end up loving their books and can’t stop reading them. Plus the men in these stories are just too yummy to pass up.
First in all honesty Jess in the first two stories really got on my nerves. She was hateful to everyone and was not able to come to terms that aliens had run humans off of Earth. As a result I was not looking forward to reading her book however I knew she needed it soon or she was going to either get hurt or hurt someone else with her anger issues.
This is the second female character that I have not cared for during other books but when the book is written about her I end up understanding and liking her better by the end of the book. The author shows the vulnerable side of Jess in this story how she has anxiety attacks and why she does. I really came to understand her a lot better although I still don’t think she handled everything as well as she could have she still did come through it. I now appreciate and like her much better now. I think she will be an asset to the planet Sonis because she has a good head for business. Rasha was a great pair for Jess even though he is clueless about humans think, he really tried to be there for Jess and even made the effort to win her over and make her feel more comfortable.
All in all still a great series to get in too and read. I can’t wait to see who is the subject of the next book and who is the lucky one paired up with them.
