Review: Dangerously His (Loving Dangerously #4) by A.M. Griffin

Justin “JB” Blake has never met a woman he couldn’t bed—or one he wants to keep. That changes the second he lays eyes on Princess Saia Xochis. The beautiful alien makes his body burn and his heart ache. She will be his. All JB has to do is risk life and limb at the hands of her abusive father, her protective brother, and her warmongering intended mate.

The possibilities of death and dismemberment have never stopped him before.

Inside Scoop: This book has a small taste of female/female fun—as well as scenes of abuse that are decidedly not fun.

This riveting sci-fi romance keeps readers on the edge of their seat.  Princess Saia Xochis has been contracted to a warmongering Lord and she has decided to use her unwanted fate to at least save her mother, but all that changes when she meets the playboy JB and begins to yearn for something more.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the reader’s entertained with action, suspense, drama and romance.  The author brings the story to life with well written scenes and details that capture the imagination and well orchestrated events that draw the reader deeper into the story. The characters are strong compelling, easily related to and invite the reader to join them on their journey.

The chemistry between Saia and JB electrifies the senses and the sex scenes scorch the reader with a fiery inferno of red hot passion. Even though Saia is promised to someone else, they can’t deny their attraction for each other and the relationship progresses at a pretty fast pace and provide lots of spice and depth to the story.    The reader can’t help but get empathize with Saia situation and get caught up in her story and JB takes the reader’s by storm with his bad boy self, especially when he takes matters into his own hands and defies all the rules.

Excitement and tension build throughout the story as Saia’s contracted mate’s arrival gets closer and everyone scrambles to find a way to get her out of it. JB adds his own excitement to the story as well since he keeps finding himself in hot water with the King and the attraction he feels for Saia is liable to cost his head.

I haven’t read the first books in this series, but I can promise you that I will be fixing that soon.  The series has lots of intriguing and captivating characters and I really want to read their stories since I enjoyed this one so much.
