The conclusion to the Love Under Fire trilogy is a riveting and erotic romance. As a therapist, Lena has no intention of becoming involved with Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer, Rick Frasier, not matter how much she lusts after him. Rich has never shied from danger, but the attraction he feels for Lena sends him into a tailspin.
The fast paced plot keeps readers well entertained with lots of suspense, drama and passion. The author describes the scenes and events with well written words that capture the imagination. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.
The attraction between Rick and Lena radiates heat from every page and the sex scenes burn up the pages, but the relationship hits a few snags that the reader can certainly understand. Lena doesn’t want to risk her heart for someone that is going to be leaving so soon and Rick’s really sure he can fight all Lena’s issues.
The author takes an intense and scary situation to forge a sweet everlasting romance that fills readers with happiness. I think the stories should have been a little longer, but the author does a great job of bringing these quick happily ever after romances to vibrant life.
