Review: Drew’s Last Hope (Finding Perfect Book 4) by Amy Gregory

Drew McKnight has always had a killer smile. Girls first, then women fell for it. Add that to his magnetic personality and Drew has never known a stranger. Growing up in the quaint town of Renlend, Kansas he had everything he’d always wanted, including his high school sweetheart.
Then he blinked. In one moment of sheer hell, his entire world crashed down around him. His heart was torn in two pieces and he didn’t know how to move forward. Except…he had no choice not to.
Hope’s career came to a screeching halt one night on stage in front of a packed house. Her entire life’s work went down the drain. Using the same determination that got her to New York in the first place, she started over. She’s been dealt a crappy hand—twice, but she won’t let any of that interfere with her new life. No more toe shoes, tutus or men. She’s in a new town, ready for a new start.
Until she turned around and fell in love with the most precious brown eyes she’d ever seen.

Two people whose been dealt a crappy hand during their life, neither Drew nor Hope are looking for love but that doesn’t mean it won’t find them in captivating contemporary romance.

With a fast paced and smooth flowing plot this sweetheart of a romance captivates readers with an emotionally gripping tale and a happily ever after romance. When Hope’s life fell apart, she returned to the only place she ever called home to start a new dream little did she expect that she would find more and Drew’s heart was torn into two pieces and he doesn’t know how to put it back together. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the their romance as the chemistry between Hope and Drew sizzle with intense desire from the very beginning but their insecurities and doubts from their emotional issues capture the heart.

Better have a box of tissues handy because this romance starts off with a very intense emotional scene but while there may be a couple more instances where tears come to the eyes, the rest of the story brings happiness and chuckles and well you best be prepared to be charmed right out of your socks by a cruly haired little matchmaker that steals the hearts of everyone she comes in contact with. The well written scenes and details capture the heart and bring the story to life while the emotionally charged romance draws the reader in and doesn’t let go. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and of course since the small town friendly atmosphere ensures that the previous characters are all part of the story the reader feels as if they are part of the “family.”

Another great happily ever after romance by Amy Gregory that I was completely enthralled by and I can’t wait to read the next one.
