Review: Not Fade Away: Hell or High Water # 3.5 by S.E. Jakes

Truth or dare.

Ever since superspy Cillian moved into Prophet’s building, their game of Steal the Couch has been funny to Prophet, but a thorn in Tom’s side. Then Prophet gets bored one night during an ice storm and insists on playing another simple game with Tom: Truth or Dare. In exchange for one of Prophet’s truths, Tom steals the couch one last time.

But Prophet’s truths are never easy—Tom should know that by now—and this one raises questions neither of them quite know how to answer. In response, Tom finds himself laying claim to Prophet in the most basic way he knows how. And also finds that he doesn’t mind it in the least when Prophet returns the favor.

Who doesn’t love a great round of truth or dare? And what better way to play this favorite childhood game than with two sexy men with lots of carnal activities. Prophet and Tommy are back for an exceptional installment in the Hell or High Water series by S.E. Jakes.

Not Fade Away was everything that I hoped for, and made me realize why I love this series. Prophet and Tommy are larger than life characters, men of substance, who live and love fiercely. Together, they make each other’s lives better.

What I loved about this book…lots of Prophet and Tommy, sans the cloak and dagger, just pure unadulterated sex. S.E. Jakes left little to the imagination, and all the more, Ms. Jakes- bring it on!

Not Fade Away transported pleasure to the synapses, as did our two favorite men. No extraneous characters needed, simply Ms. Jakes digging deeper into the lives of Prophet and Tommy, and delivering a whole new realm into their psyche.

Not Fade Away is not to be missed. Grab the glass of wine and get ready to be sexually titillated. A must read.
