Title: Fit to be Tied
Deputy US Marshals Miro Jones and Ian Doyle are now partners on and off the job: Miro’s calm professionalism provides an ideal balance to Ian’s passion and quick temper. In a job where one misstep can be the difference between life and death, trust means everything. But every relationship has growing pains, and sometimes Miro stews about where he stands with his fiery lover. Could the heartstrings that so recently tied them together be in danger of unraveling?
Those new bonds are constantly challenged by family intrusions, well-intentioned friends, their personal insecurities, and their dangerous careers—including a trial by fire when an old case of Miro’s comes back to haunt them. It might just be enough to make Ian rethink his decision to let himself be tied down, and Miro can only hope the links they've forged will be strong enough to hold.

Let me just tell you right here from the beginning, when I found out that Miro and Ian were getting more books it made me one happy Diva. With the second installment of the Marshal series readers get to go along for one wild ride with Ian and Miro as they figure out exactly where they are in their togetherness while trying to stay alive long enough to make sense of all those proclamations they make.
At this point in Miro and Ian’s lives they’ve been together for about six months. They are living and working together and still having some amazingly hot nights together. Fit to be Tied is just as hot as All Kinds of Tied Down. They are very much in love and each and every single one of their actions shows that to their readers. Miro wants to take further steps in their relationship and Ian’s questioning is making Miro question the decisions they’ve made thus far. Reading these two strong alpha males who are very much head over heels for each other go through all the insecurities of a new relationship made for some intense reading. The reader in me wanted to smack them with their own book to get them to see the amazing thing they have.
The romantic suspense element that Mary Calmes brings to the pages is fairly intense. A violent criminal from a past case finds his way into Miro’s present in a very sick and twisted way. I would have LOVED some of those pages to be from Ian’s point of view. Readers are there with Miro for this horrific ordeal. The days following are some real eye openers for Ian and Miro.
Favorite quotes, Miro to Ian: “Someday, when I have a movie of my life, all that’ll be there will be you.”
Ian to Miro: “I did dream, now I live in it.”
