Review: Ignite (The Long Way Round #2) by Kait Gamble

Can two friends masquerading as a married couple on a trip to paradise change friendship into something more?

Natalie needs a break from her stalled career as a software developer, so when her good friend Sebastian suddenly appears asking her to accompany him on a trip to paradise, how can she say no? The catch? She has to pretend to be his wife.

Sebastian must woo a potential partner and to do it he needs a wife STAT, so he turns to his old pal Natalie. She’s smart, beautiful and they know nearly everything about each other. It’s the perfect arrangement and things won’t get complicated.

But what happens when the faked affection becomes all too real?

I just love friends to lovers stories!! Add in a spectacular location and some steamy sex and you’ve got Ignite! I loved Natalie and Sebastian together!  They’ve known each other since they went to University and have remained close ever since. Sebastian comes to her one night in need of a pretend wife for a business deal and he asks her to come to Thailand with him.  She has crushed on Sebastian for what seems like forever, so decides she has to go and will deal with the disappointment that is sure to follow later. What she doesn’t know is he is looking forward to spending a vacation with her just as much!

Ignite is a quick, playful, and sexy read!  It fits well in-between those long novels or a fun read on the beach!  The writing was spot on and you could feel their chemistry!  I really enjoyed reading it and will look for more to read from Kait Gamble!
