The first book in the Inevitable series is a sizzling hot shapeshifter romance.
Alpha of her pack, Karintha is capable of leading her pack – alone, but he elders have chosen a mate for her, one that means she not only has to battle the one shifter that she’s lusted for, but her own treacherous body as well. To do the right thing, Xander offers to leave the pack allowing Karintha the freedom of choosing her own mate, but despite his best intentions, barely restrained passions explode.
The author brings this hot and steamy story to life with vivid images and bewitching characters that grab the reader’s attention and doesn’t let go. The plot is fast paced and keeps the reader engaged with frequent scorching sex scenes that leaves the reader shivering with passion. The author describes the emotions and personalities of the Xander and Karin with an intensity that makes the reader feel as if they know the characters personally.
The author certainly captures the imagination with the entertaining erotic world of shapeshifters, the only complaint that I have is it is a too short. I was certainly intrigued by the characters pasts and would like to have gotten to know them a little more, but overall it was a quick and enjoyable read.
