Review: Kodiak’s Claim by Eve Langlais

He might growl, but she’s not afraid to bite.

Hands full taking care of his clan, the last thing this Kodiak bear needs is a woman poking her cute little nose into his affairs. But when she refuses to back down—and shows the courage to stand up to him—he can’t resist the allure of a curvy city girl.

She’s mine. All mine.

And when a rival clan thinks to use her to force his paw, he’ll show them why you never piss off a Kodiak, or threaten what’s his.

Tammy is convinced men are all scum, even gorgeous ones like Reid Carver. She knows he’s hiding something. Something big. She just never expected a real freaking bear hid underneath all those muscles. But when the truth comes out and he tries to scare her off with a roar, she shows him not just bears have bite.

Take one bachelor alpha bear, a unsuspecting human and throw in some action and danger and you have the newest book by Eve Langlais, Kodiak’s Claim. This book is a treat for anyone you loves a good PNR. Filled with twist and turns, you laugh as Reid and Tammy spar then swoon when things get hot and heavy. This page turner will keep you riveted and excited until you reach they and and leave you begging for more.

This was my first bear shifter book. Was I disappointed? Heck no! Kodiak’s Claim was a blast. Bears are certainly different from wolves and if you ask me way more cuddly…especially when we are talking about Reid! Tammy was a cute feisty match for him. Their sparring was fun and sexy. I just got a kick out of all the bear-like references. The building tension as they worked out their differences was perfect. The added cast of characters were a added plus and I can’t wait to see which ones get their own book. All of this spins very well together into a book that I enjoyed from cover to cover. Frankly, I stayed up all night reading it because I just couldn’t put it down.

I haven’t read much by author Eve Langlais but I can see how she can quickly become my new addiction. Great characters mixed with a awesome plot is hard to pass up. Anytime I get my hands on a book that can have me laughing and swooning is a win-win for me. Then to find out the fun is going to continue in the next story of Kodiak’s Clan…BOOYAH! I’m in. I’ll be recommending Kodiak’s Claim to my BBFs to read.
