Review: Lunar Dancer (Decadent Moon #3) by Shona Husk

Ima is a courier charged with delivering a message to a dancer on Decadent Moon. What the King of Ograth wants with Jorin she doesn’t know, but when Ima sees Jorin dance she knows exactly what she wants from him. He is lean and muscled and alien. She’s never had a man not of her species. And she wants him with a passion.

Jorin fled Ograth hoping to avoid the death sentence of being the spare heir of the royal family. When Ima gives him the message, he knows his past has caught up with him. However that’s not going to stop him from having some sexy fun first.

One lust-filled night leads to an idea that might save Jorin’s life, but Ima has her own demands before agreeing to a marriage of convenience.

Delivering a message to a sexy dancer should have been a simple job in this riveting sci-fi romance. But Ima gets more than she bargins for when she learns that the message means certain death for lean, muscled alien that she wants with a passion.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps reader shivering in suspense and passion as Ima and Jorin try to find a way to keep Jorin alive and accomplish Ima’s very important goals.  The author describes the story with well written details that capture the imagination and the strong compelling characters are easily related to and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Ima and Jorin radiates lots of heat from every page and the sex scenes exude hot and steamy passion. Both characters capture the heart with their respective situations and the reader can’t help but get caught up in their story as they try to solve their problems while at the same time explore their attraction for each other.

The author brings a sexy fantasy to life and gives her aliens some unique and intriguing qualities that keep the reader guessing. While I think the stories are too short, I can’t help but enjoy the quick and passionate romances in her Decadent Moon series.
