This is the story I've been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.
Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.
Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.
But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I'm the one discovering him...or if he's uncovering me.

Oh My! There is a new book boyfriend in town and his name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. He is riveting, sexy, engaging, intriguing, hypnotic, and you name it! I could go on and on! What he is not, is his last name, a Saint! Eye candy to beat all eye candy. He’s absolutely irresistible. He just makes you want to be all kinds of naughty with him and well, sin, sin, sin! Whew! Get me a cold drink!
Manwhore starts out with Rachel Livingston, a reporter for Edge Magazine, asked by her boss to do a tell-all expose on Malcolm Saint- billionaire, sex symbol, manwhore . Print work is going by the wayside and everybody at Edge is on edge, hoping they are by-passed in the next round of lay-offs or worse yet, closing the magazine. Rachel has the ability to maybe save the magazine and make a name for herself with this story. She dives in to live and breathe everything that is Malcolm Saint. Malcolm is privileged- a self-made billionaire. He’s always been in the public eye, everybody wanting something from him. Aside from his parties caught on social media, his personal secrets have been his own. Rachel starts to infiltrate his life little by little, and before she knows it, she is in over her head. Malcolm is pursuing her. Why her? When he can have any other blonde on the block why her? She is supposed to be digging up dirt for her story, but what she was not expecting, was falling fast and so very hard for the man behind the image. A side of him rarely seen. A soft, sensual, caring, and thoughtful side making this man the very air she needs to breathe. To survive. Surprisingly, he is bringing things out in her but she was supposed to be discovering the nitty-gritty on him. Does she want to share this side of Malcolm with the public? Does she want to drag him through the dirt to save her magazine and everybody’s jobs there, at the expense of possibly ever being with Malcolm again?? Rachel is struggling with herself and knows she has to decide!! What does she do???
Katy Evans takes us on one heck of a love-story joy ride with Manwhore. It is book one in her new series so be warned it does continue beyond this book. I am uttering in love with Saint. I devoured this book! I want more! I can’t wait for the next one!!! I think I need a Saint in my life now!! Easily one of my best books of 2015! Sit back, hold on, and enjoy the ride!
Vanessa: Would you please start by telling us a little bit about yourself?
Hi Divas! Thanks so much for having me over today!
I’m Katy Evans, author of the Real series and the upcoming Manwhore series. Real debuted in 2013 as the first in the Real series and from that moment on, I’ve been truly blessed to be able to share my characters and stories with readers. The first book in my new series, Manwhore, releases March 24th and I’m especially excited about sharing this story.
Jacque: What books or authors have inspired your writing?
I think every book I read is a gift and has touched me, in little or big ways. Of course my most memorable reads come from the very first romance authors I ever read, but every year I also find new authors to fall in love with. Judith McNaught, Johanna Lindsey, Julie Garwood, Jude Deveraux, then came Sandra Brown, Elizabeth Hoyt, followed by Sylvia Day, Maya Banks, Janet Evanovich, I treasure their stories and look for their new releases all the time.
Stormy: What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
Oh I do admit I can’t seem to settle down to write without having a full glass of something warm to drink. Tea or coffee, or I’ll even take cool lemonade, but just the thought of having to get up to get something “I might need” prevents me from diving into the cave. So usually I sit down only until I carry with me a full glass of anything, a blanket folded nearby (in case I get cold) and DEFINITELY my headphones – they’re the ones who truly help me disconnect and get into my own little world. 🙂
Megan: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
I love going outside. Nature is kind of like my church. We live in a lovely neighborhood with a lot of deer and wildlife and I love walking and connecting with the outside. It relaxes me, clears my mind, reminds me of what is essential in life. Air, water, shelter. I also love baking healthy with alternate flours like coconut or almond flours etc.
Stormy: If you could visit any time period and location (past or future) when and where would you go?
Oh, so hard! A part of me would love a glimpse of the future. See where all this technology will take us. Another part of me would love to live in the past, like in the times of the Vikings, or the Romans. And yet I always, always, since I read my first historical, wanted to see what living in Regency England was like too. 🙂
Gaele: Where do your ideas come from? Do you set out to ‘outline’ a plot and situations, or do you let the characters take you along for the ride, and clean it up later?
I definitely don’t plot. I love how George R.R. Martin puts it: he says there are two types of writers, the architects and the gardeners. The architect plans, and the gardener digs. I definitely dig. I dig and dig for the story, write the scenes as they come to me. Sometimes they’re out of order and I need to figure out if it was a piece just for “me” to know a character better, or as part of the story to be told, but the fun part is that every time I sit down to dig, I never know for sure what I’m going to get. It keeps me on my toes for sure and fully engaged as my own characters lead me forward.
Pansy: Can you tell us about your current work in progress, perhaps you could share a favorite fact or piece of fascinating information about it?
Currently I’m finishing MANWHORE +1, the continuation of MANWHORE. It releases July 7th and I can’t wait to share! Sequels are difficult because you need to work with the frame and story world you already set up in the previous work, but on the other hand, sequels are a treat because you already love these characters, you already know them and what they want, so that awkward “first date with my character” phase is gone. The ball is already in motion, the plot moving forward, so it somehow leaves a lot of room to let your characters have some fun and keep evolving. 🙂
Gaele: With all the characters you have created – are there any that you feel need to have another book or series to get their “story told”?
Oh yes, this happened with Real, when I had planned it as a standalone and when I finished the book, the characters won’t let me go and I felt like I “needed” to continue their story until they finished. This also happened to me with Manwhore. From the moment I started I just sensed that these characters wouldn’t be able to fit their story in just one book, so I went for two and am still open to a third one.
Christina: If you could speak to any one type of animal, what would it be, and what would you ask it?
I would love to speak to a wolf. Wolves fascinate me. I want to know their dynamics, the thoughts of the pack as a whole as well as each wolf individually. There’s something lonely about them, even though they’re pack animals, I just sense there’s something lonely in those beasts.
Vanessa: I’m a bit of an author stalker and I love going to signings and conventions. Do you have any upcoming appearances?
Yes! I’d love if I eventually got to meet you Divas and I love it when I get to meet readers. I’m going to be at the Love N Books Planet Hollywood signing in Las Vegas, July 17th. Can’t wait to meet friends and fans! 😀
