Title: Mister Black: A Billionaire SEAL Story
We all have someone who crossed our path and fundamentally changed us. That one person who blew through our lives, their presence forever stamped on our psyche. They linger in our thoughts, in our hearts, and in the decisions we make. A soul crusher or a dream maker, depending on the perspective.
My person is MISTER BLACK.
I didn’t know him by that name when I first met him.
I didn’t know him at all, but the impression he left behind was just as powerful as the name I call him today.
He is Black: a deadly enforcer and masterful seducer.
I am Red: a justice bleeder and willing participant.
Together we are passion. Colors colliding through each other’s lives.
When our secrets converge in a passionate encounter,
stepping out of the shadows just might be worth the risk.
NOTE: MISTER BLACK is meant for readers 18+ due to mature content. This is part 1 in the IN THE SHADOWS serial and is 125 print pages. Part 2, SCARLETT RED, is novel-length at 275 print pages. Part 3, BLACKEST RED is coming and will also be novel length.

Mister Black was certainly not what I expected. I read the blurb and looked at the cover. Both gave me this preconceived image of what I was going to be reading. Boy was I wrong!
To start with (from the cover) I anticipated a spoiled billionaire. Mr. Black certainly is not that. Actually, I kept wondering how did the billionaire part come into play. That of course is a secret to be revealed at a later date. Lips sealed and no spoilers here. Talia and Mr. Black’s initial meeting was wrapped up in mystery to their history which I found intriguing. Of course everything I thought it was about and how they got there was wrong. BTW…I like to be wrong. It keeps the story from being too predictable. Their second meeting years later Was just as interesting only this time around…HAWT!
The author did a good job of weaving the story and the characters together. Good sex in the story is always appreciated but it’s when I find myself really wondering and riveted with the all the whys, that’s when I know I am hooked and not bothered when there’s a cliffhanger. Mister Black is a great beginning to this series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
