Review: One Night in Budapest (City Nights #20) by Lucy Felthouse

Hermione’s in Budapest on a romantic weekend break. Or at least it should have been romantic—an unexpected break-up means she’s visiting the Hungarian capital alone. Determined to make the most of it, she goes on a night-time river cruise, the perfect opportunity to see some of the city’s beautiful sights after dark.

On the boat, cute Budapest native, Emil, serves her cocktails. They chat a little on the journey, engage in some banter, and when Emil asks Hermione out for dinner, she’s seriously tempted. But she’s a long way from home, by herself—is dinner with a complete stranger a good idea? Hermione decides to take a chance, and what follows is an unforgettable night which will transform her life forever.

After breaking up with her boyfriend, Hermione decides to take their romantic weekend vacation to Budapest by herself! She planned it so she is going! Wanting to enjoy everything the city has to offer, she books an excursion on a night-time river boat cruise. While enjoying the beautiful buildings all lit up at night, Emil, serves her cocktails aboard the riverboat.

Emil is quite taken with Hermione and offers to accompany her to dinner and then some further sight-seeing. Being a single girl in a big city at night, Hermione agrees to let Emil be her guide. She’s a little nervous since she just met him, but she feels it is better to be with Emil than alone. What ensues is sure to be an adventure of a lifetime!

Lucy Felthouse always gives us great characters that we instantly fall in love with and in One Night in Budapest, we get them with Hermione and Emil! Lucy writes with such vividness, I felt I was looking at the sights with them! I loved how the romance grew between them and I could see that they really liked being around each other. I truly enjoyed their adventure across the city!

Quick, wonderful story that I read in one setting, I wholeheartedly recommend you pick this up right now! Such a hot and steamy read, its perfect for something to reset your mind after a long novel or even better, on vacation by the water! After reading this little hottie, you will need to jump in and cool off!
