Review: A Perfect Hire by K.C. Kendricks

After traveling the world as a tour guide, Chris has turned his love of coffee and wine from around the world into a specialty business. His small emporium, with it’s late hours and interesting clientele brings the world to his door. An ill-timed fall damages Chris’s pride—and his hip—and ultimately lands him an extremely sexy new hire.

At loose ends after an early retirement, Eric is desperate for something to fill the days. Spying the “help wanted” sign at the local coffee shop, he pops in for an application and is pleasantly surprised to add the handsome shop owner to list of reasons he’s dying to take the job.

Faced with some of life’s less pleasant surprises, Chris and Eric discover that rolling with the punches—and rolling between the sheets—only get more satisfying with age, experience and creativity.

Older, sexy men, who are not afraid to demand what they desire, nor whom, A Perfect Hire by K.C. Kendricks delivered a refreshing adage to boy meets boy and falls in love. Chris, the owner of an enterprising coffee-wine café, kept hours befitting all his clientele, until an unforeseen accident landed him on the sidelines and slowing down.

Eric, newly retired and in need of something to occupy his unfulfilling days, stopped in the shop after noticing the help wanted sign. Hired, on the spot!

The attraction between the two men, although instantaneous, was not of the immature younger man, who solely wanted to please himself. Ms. Kendricks wrote of maturity in age and beliefs’, thus allowing for the MC’s to know their life’s direction and the joys of sharing in the golden years. The prime of your life, is what a person makes of it and a number that marks the years on earth, are just that- a number.

A Perfect Hire was a sexy read, with likeable and loving characters, which saw the value in growing together towards the next step in life.
