Review: Riding Ripley (Bond of Three) by Virginia Nelson

Bond of Three, Book 3

For years Zachary has ruthlessly rejected his desires, but with every passing day it becomes harder to deny that he craves Stephen’s forbidden touch. Now, for the first time in memory, Triads have been forming, pulling together two men and one woman to form a sacred bond. Finally Zachary dares to hope that his future may be a happy one.

Ripley has watched Zachary suffer for far too long, trapped on the sidelines between a man he dares not want and a woman he believes out of his league. Enough is enough. Denial is fine when it heightens desire, but Ripley is ready to take matters into her own hands. She’s going to ensure that, at the end of the day, she’s got both men she’s always wanted, by her side and in her bed.

Riding Ripley is book three of Virginia Nelson’s Bond of Three Series and it’s a doozy!  Short, Quick, but oh so hot read!  Zachary has been watching Stephen with desire for ages.  But he felt he could never act on that desire until recently. Triads have been forming.  Two males to one female.  Could he find happiness forming a Triad? Maybe just maybe this could work!  Ripley has seen Zachary suffering with his attraction to Stephen and his attraction to her, but he’s always deemed her too young and kept himself in check.  When she decides enough is enough, she takes matters into her own hands and sets a plan in motion to snag both men.  She desperately needs them to claim her and they just need a little jumpstart to jolt them into action!

This book is quite the little sizzler!  I loved how Ripley knew what she wanted and proceeded to go after it.  She is a Seer so she feels she’s quite adapt at reading people.  We get a little bit more of what is going on in Zachary’s head versus Stephen’s but that’s just because Zachary was conflicted with his emotions. Love is love no matter who it’s with, and why can’t it be with two? If you are looking for short fantasy reads, give this book and series a try. Riding Ripley can be read as a standalone, however,  it may be good to start with book one only to gain information on the world that this takes place in. As Ripley’s vision shows, there is danger looming ahead and I can’t wait to catch up with all the Triads as they come to battle!
