Review – Rude (King’s Harlots #3) by J.M. Walker

His past haunts him.
Broken and destroyed, keep him silent and withdrawn.
Vice-One is the family he had always needed but it isn’t enough. Shadows of a nightmare threaten to take back the control he craves until Brogan Tapp unknowingly puts him in his rightful place.

She pretends to be happy.
Smile. Laugh. Repeat.
Going through the emotions of everyday life when really, she’s a scared little girl on the inside.
She tries hard to be what society considers as normal when Coby Porter helps her embrace the darkness within. He shows her it’s okay to be different.

Their souls collide, giving them the comfort they need when an unknown source takes pleasure in trying to rip them apart.

Ask me how long it’s been since a book has made me cry. Not, eyes getting glossy. Streams of water falling from my eyes, kind of crying. Actually. Scratch that. Don’t bother asking because I honestly can’t remember the last time. Until this book…

Letter to Coby –

My Ghost. My Coby. My dominate, overbearing, beast of a man. How you’ve wrapped yourself tight around my heart and continue to squeeze. Out of all of your brothers, I have fallen the hardest for you.

Review –

Are you freaking kidding me right now? Holy frek frak this is by far my fav of the series thus far. We have watched, over the first few installments, Coby deny his attraction to Brogan. Well, the cats out of the bag in this one. And boy oh boy, it’s hotter than steamy hot. It’s volcanic!!! But just as the two of them are starting to put their relationship together, the evil that has been haunting their town and families stricks again. And you’ll NEVER believe what they do in this one. Absolutely cray cray. So crazy that it could be the end of Coby and Brogan before it even really begins. Will their relationship withstand the crazy? Man, I hope so…

There are so many things that I’d like to say about this book. All are good, of course. But my issue is that there isn’t one thing that I can mention without giving parts of the story away. And I’m just not that kind of reviewer. But know this….if you’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series, you’re gonna point blank LOVE this one!
