Review: Sabin (Leopard’s Spots #11) by Bailey Bradford

Sabin just wants his powdered sugar donuts, until he meets a man that tastes better than any sweets Sabin’s ever tried…

Sabin has watched his brother fall for a man, a human who was Nischal’s mate. Sabin just wants his damned junk food, but no. A weird shifter named Cliff had to mention Sabin in a creepy text and now Sabin can’t have a moment’s peace.

Until he goes to town with Nisch and Preston, and meets his mate. Hey, no one can tell Sabin he can’t be with his mate! Except his mate doesn’t know anything about shifters, much less that he is one, and together Sabin and Emmett are thrown into a life or death race to discover a plot that threatens all of humanity… At least, the human part of it.

300 Review

The eleventh story in the Leopard’s Spots series is an intriguing m/m erotic book with some surprises and lots of suspense.

After weird shifter named Cliff mentions Sabin in a creepy text, Sabin has been unable to relax and he wanted was his damned junk food.  Emmett is a FBI agent and unaware that he is a shifter. When he meets Sabin while on a case he can’t resist the undeniable attraction and together they discover a plot that threatens all humanity.

The author has created a fascinating and suspenseful world of shifters that grabs the reader’s attention and keeps them turning the page.  And this steady to fast paced smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with lots of suspense, some action, and romance.  The author paints vivid pictures of the scenes making the reader feel as if they are part of the story and brings the story life with intense details and bewitching characters that are easily related to.

The attraction between Sabin and Emmett is red hot and the frequent sex scenes scorch the reader with the passion the author conveys with intensity. I must mention that there is of course anal sex, oral sex and some BDSM.

The tension builds as the couple try to find the truth and discover way more than they bargained for.  The story contains some violence and mention of murders of litters.

I found that the scenes are well written, easily pictured and believable.  The story has an interesting and serious conflict as well as sizzling sex scenes and romance with just the right amount of humor and snarky dialogue that make for a well balanced story. And the characters are lovable and compelling ensuring that the reader wants to know more.

I have not read the other books in this series, but I have added them, as well as this author to my TBR list.
