Several books ago in the Thresl Chronicles Amber Kell introduced Saint. From the moment he pounced onto the page I wanted to read more of this Thresl. He’s brassy and harsh and he is missing all of his filters. His page time is always a guaranteed enjoyment.
Another several books ago happening was the introduction of Mars and the fact that he was destined to be Saint’s mate. This all lead to some high anticipation for this particular book for me. Saint Returns doesn’t disappoint. It is paced well and follows the main story of the other books in the series. The illegal Thresl smuggling must be stopped at all costs. Saint wants what best for his people at any and all costs. He also wants the throne that was stolen from him back.
Fans of the series will be pleased to see that Vohne and Kres (and his knives) and Zander and Leo make a rather large appearance in this installment to the series. They accompany Mars and Saint on their mission to put a stop to the Thresl smuggling.
