But she never prepared herself to face Blake, the beyond-handsome man who just might be the link to the proof she needs. Running for their lives from those determined to exterminate Blake and all those like him, Alexia and Blake are forced to rely on each other. Between dodging bullets and lying low, Alexia and Blake explore more than the mystery of his heritage. Every passionate encounter and mind-blowing orgasm escalates their relationship, turning lust and attraction into something far more valuable. Proving the existence of shape-shifters could prove to be a deadly proposition for Alexia in this riveting shape-shifter novella.  Her determination to honor her father’s memory leads her Blake and puts them both in sight of those who want to exterminate all shifters. As danger closes in, Alexia’s going to have to choose what’s more important, honoring the father she adored and or protecting the man she loves.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the reader on their toes with lots of action, suspense, drama and passion.  The author paints vivid scenes with well written details that capture the imagination and the well orchestrated action and suspense draw the reader deeper into this short romance filled with strong compelling characters that are easily related to.

The attraction between Alexia and Blake blazes red hot from first meeting and the frequent sex scenes are an inferno of fiery passion. The reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement and drama as the couple run for their lives and the author surprises the reader with a few twists to keep them guessing.

While short and sweet, this action filled novella is enjoyable and entertaining and while I couldn’t determine if there is to be another story involving these shifters, I really hope to read Shad’s story one day soon.
