Tall, dark and handsome, the guy walks into Lacey’s bar like he’s expecting to be hit with a hail of bullets. She's drawn to him but Lacey has a secret. One that could threaten her freedom, her very life if it’s exposed.
The woman behind the bar is gorgeous. She pushes every single one of Teo’s buttons and he wants her—even though he’s dangerous, a walking time bomb, and it’s only a matter of time before he explodes.
But one night of magical sex and all bets are off as Lacey’s secret catches up with her and Teo will risk everything, including himself, to keep her safe. And make her his.
I am loving Julian’s Magical Seduction series. Readers get to read the last of the de Feo brothers. Wow, they were a hot lot! Teo tends to stay at home and keep to himself. This is out of necessity. A witch/previous lover has put a curse on him. Things tend to get a bit chaotic when he’s around. All of the de Feo’s have caught the love bug and Rio and Rosie think Teo needs to bask in this also. They decide to introduce him to the owner of the bar where they met.
Lacey is hiding from her past and her identity as a being that was once thought to be extinct. The other magical beings have a tendency of fearing her kind. The ones that do not fear her want to exploit her. Having escaped a past where she and her twin were used she has no desire to revisit that life again. Thus she cannot risk getting close enough to anyone for them to find out what she is hiding.
I think this is possibly my favorite in the Magical Seduction series so far. Teo’s curse and Lacey’s nature play very well together. Seduced by Chaos also allows for two individuals who most likely thought they would never have a Happily Ever After to get just that. It was one of those against all odds type of stories.
