As soon as they see each other again the feelings they denied all those years ago resurface.

A power that an evil hunter wants so that he can destroy the Arctic wolves. This is the second installment of this series and it has just as much chemistry and shifter action as the first. Although I wasn’t pulled in to the story immediately, it didn’t take long for me to be completely intrigued with figuring out what the heck was going on.

Samson, one of the Brotherhood members we met in the first installment, is asked to help his long time friend and former Brotherhood member with a missing persons case. Considering he’s a tracker and a damn good one, it shouldn’t be too difficult, right? But this isn’t just any case, its the friends daughter. A daughter who he shared a kiss with year ago. A daughter who can destroy an entire species. A daughter who’s been captured by someone who wants to do just that.

Valetta is the daughter. I’m not gonna lie. She takes some getting used to. Her character wasn’t the easiest for me to mentally grab a hold of, but it got the job done, so to speak. Valetta has kept a secret she learned from her dying mother two years ago from her father and now it’s all coming out. Throw in some suspense and mystery, some twists and turns and we’re sent on a jam packed ride in this book.

Even though I loved the “sexiest” attitude Samson gave us in the first book, I have to admit that I fell a little harder for him in this one. He’s just sexy as hell. Of course the chemistry between Valetta and Samson was animalistic to say the least, so there really isn’t much more you’ll need to know there. The author presents another twist to the story line. One that has pulled me back in again. Let’s see where the next one takes us.
