300 Review

This 30 odd page book is two short and steamy stories: perfect for a quick before bedtime read.  In the first, Cassandra Carr brings us Saved a wife taking a chance on saving her marriage and spicing up their love life by sharing her fantasy, the one thing she has never shared with her husband.

While many can undoubtedly relate to Cari, wondering if her partner will find that hidden desire “too out there” for them, it also serves to open readers to the potential of applying Cari’s example with Dane to their own lives.

Written with the right mix of emotional connection and willingness to please and experiment, this story was my favorite of the two in both emotional and sexual intensity.  Drawing on their love for one another and their familiarity, it could easily have gone into a ‘comfortable and familiar’ zone in terms of intensity, but the newness of a fantasy and the acting on those fantasies made this a scorcher!

Second up is Circling: and focuses on that dance common as people are flirting with and teasing one another before they commit to becoming lovers.  We don’t have names or even a detailed lead in to their flirtation: they had been working in a restaurant for the summer, flirting back and forth, and finally took the flirtation one step further.
Steamy and sexy, with plenty of talk, this was a less emotionally laden story, as there is not a great deal of background.  Still in all, for a quick and hot read, or even something to use as impetus as a new role-play fantasy, this one was a winner too!
