The third book in the erotic Firehouse 5 series is a sizzling menage romance.

The Bar None has burned to the ground and when arson is suspected Jonathan and Mac are assigned the case. When they question the owner about the incident, both find themselves having trouble focusing on the case. Claudia’s been in shock since learning that her club burned down, but when the two hot investigators arrive on her doorstep her body awakens fast and furious as she finds herself attracted to both.  But will the thought of all three of them being together at once be more than they can handle, not to mention there’s a arsonist to be caught.

This fast paced plot keeps the reader shivering in anticipation with intrigue and passion. The author captures the reader’s imagination with vivid imagery, details and strong compelling characters. The tension builds throughout the story with the suspense that keeps the reader guessing about not only the arsonist, but also the romance.

The chemistry between Claudia and the two investigators explodes from the pages and to spice things up a bit the romance between Jonathan and Mac simmers throughout the story.  The frequent sex scenes are blazing hot with anal sex, m/f/m scenes, m/m scenes and m/m/f scenes that take the reader’s breath away.  The author brings the characters with life be describing their emotions and personalities with a intensity that grabs the reader’s attention and makes it easy to relate to them and their situation.

I found the story greatly entertaining and was pleasantly surprised by a certain aspect of the romance dynamic it is certainly the first time I have read a book where it starts off that way. I will refrain from telling anyone what it is though I wouldn’t want to spoil anything.  I was captivated by the wonderful characters and I am looking forward to reading more tales from the Firehouse 5.Smoldering Hearts
