Title: Snowcroft Restoration
Two years ago, Law Wyman went undercover for an FBI investigation that went sideways. It cost him both the love of his life and his sanity. The nightmare still haunts him, and so does some unfinished business...Ian Mayne, the son of the man who ruined his life.
Two years ago, Ian had to face the truth about how his father spent a lifetime torturing and trafficking LGBTQ teens. Ever since, Ian has done everything he can to make up for his dead father’s many sins through his law enforcement job. Too many paid in horrific, horrible ways at his father’s hands while Ian kept the truth about his own sexuality hidden.
Law is doing all he can to save Ian, but Ian doesn’t necessarily want to be saved.
Two men...both horrifically haunted by what happened. Is it possible they can find healing together? Only if they have the courage to face their demons and each other...
Trigger Warning: This is a hot story about two men who have both survived past abuse.

At the end of Intertwined Hearts Ian Mayne leaves Snowcroft to go on an undercover job to find a friend that has gone missing. Ian having some law enforcement experience feels that the police department local to his friend hasn’t done a proper job of investigating his friend’s whereabouts. Ian follows his gut instinct and finds himself in the center of something much bigger than a missing former rent boy turned go go dancer. It’s that bigger something that lands Ian front and center of a horror he thought he left in his past.
It has been so long since I read Snowcroft Lost that I almost wish I had done a reread. The very climatic ending plays a large role in Law’s life. He was there for the ending of that book. Christi does a good job of bringing readers up to speed on why Law was there and the damage that was done. The damage that was done has left Law a different man today, two years later. Law doesn’t think twice about doing a favor for Trevor Mayne when asked to follow his cousin Ian to Gran Colina. Law’s former FBI experience could possible come in handy while Ian is doing his searching for a missing friend.
Ian and Law have been hurt and tortured by the same thing in very different ways. Reading them get to know each other while healing from their past hurts was a real treat. The suspense aspect that keeps them together was pretty intense. There were a few things that I just didn’t see coming. The how’s and why’s of it taking Ian and Law full circle, back to the one thing they never wanted to go back to makes this an attention gripping read.
Many romances will give readers a sneak peek at the next couple for the series. Snow introduces those guys here in Snowcroft Restoration. I’m not sure how I feel about them. I know Christi will work some writer magic and give them the story they deserve and of course their needed happily ever after. I just have no clue how she’ll pull it off. I’m curious because I know it will be worth the read.
