Review: Sunset Heat (1NightStand #178) by C.R. Moss

Seana Tramonto feels doomed when it comes to relationships. When she’s set up through the 1Night Stand service, she’s apprehensive at best. Her concern turns to ire when her match turns out to be a man who broke her heart years ago. Old wounds are slow to heal no matter how sexy the man asking for forgiveness.

Zachary Russo, a Las Vegas policeman, is talked into doing a 1NS date. When he learns it’s with his high school tutor and friend, the girl he stood up before the Homecoming dance, he’s determined to make it up to her. But seeing her again opens his eyes to the sexy woman she’s become. Can he prove he’s grown up or will circumstance beyond his control kill their second chance?

Sunset Heat by C.R. Moss was short and sweet with an added dose of sexiness. Seana, never lucky in the love department has all but given up when her nosy cousin elicits the help of Madame Eve’s 1Night Stand service. Seana has pined for now police officer Zachary Russo, ex high school star athletic; also the man who stood her up at Homecoming. With the help of the 1Night Stand service things will look up.

C.R. Moss delivered sex appeal and a bit of late bloomer as the geeky Seana, now actress fell into the arms of Zach after all the misunderstandings were cleared up. As a fan of the 1Night Stand series, this story was a nice addition but I felt everything occurred very quickly with little back story.

The main characters were sweet as well as the secondary ones. Zach was dominant in all the right places and Seana propelled herself from her shell. Their sexual encounter was well written and not the centeral focal point of the story; more relationship. Kudos to the author.

If you are a fan of the 1Night Stand series, I recommend not missing this one.
