Sunny has given up on finding a mate, knowing she isn’t cut out for pride life, and sneaks away from her overprotective brothers to start over in Portland. When she meets Blake, though, all bets are off. He’s human, but she doesn’t care that a relationship with him is forbidden. He makes her happy and is the only man to challenge her during sex.
Blake thinks he has a good life as chef and co-owner of a successful vegetarian restaurant. Meeting Sunny, though, makes him realize what he’s missing. He falls for her fast and hard when she welcomes his inner caveman in the bedroom. He’s ready to commit until her brothers interfere, whisking her away.
Before they can find their way back to each other Blake is mistakenly targeted by a shifter scientist with an evil agenda. Suddenly he’s an unwilling member of a hidden world and doesn’t know if he can forgive Sunny’s deception.

This erotic paranormal romance is an intriguing read that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats.

Knowing she isn’t cut out for pride life, Sunny gives up on finding a mate and sneaks away from her overprotective brothers. She’s has a ‘get a life’ plan all mapped out, but the human male she meets and falls for wasn’t exactly on her list, especially since it’s forbidden.  Chef and co-owner of a vegetarian restaurant, Blake thought he had a good life until he meets Sunny and realizes what he’s been missing.  Just as they are ready to commit Sunny’s brother’s spirit her away, Blake’s is mistakenly targeted by an shifer scientist with an evil agenda and Blake finds himself part of the hidden shifter world.

This fast paced plot keeps the reader shivering in anticipation of what is going to happen next as the tension builds first between the couple as their romance progresses, but then as the evil scientist enters the picture and the excitement ramps up even more.  The author brings the story to life with vivid imagery and descriptions making the reader feel as if they are part of the story.  All of the characters are strong and compelling capturing the imagination and leaving the reader wanting to know more.

The attraction between Sunny and Blake explodes from the pages and the frequent sex scenes are hot and steamy.  Sunny has a strong go after what she wants personality and Blake’s personality compliments hers making them a great couple that are easily related to.

I was totally caught up in Sunny and Blake’s story from the beginning, the beginning catches the reader’s attention and the book just keeps getting better. I was unable to determine if the author plans on writing more books in this shifter world, but as there are some unanswered questions, I have to assume that she does.  This certainly has a lot of potential for future books, especially with all the charming characters she introduced and I certainly want to know what the evil scientist is up to.Territorial
