Review: The Three-Week Arrangement (Chase Brothers #3) by Sarah Ballance

Ethan Chase isn't interested in dating. After losing the woman he loved more than life itself, he'd much rather ride solo, but his family is dead set on fixing him up. To get them off his back, he hooks up with ultra-adventurous, ultra-temporary adventure photographer, Rue Campbell. All he has to do is survive three weeks in her orbit and he'll be single again, only without the pitying looks and pressure to move on.

Rue is literally counting the days until her plane leaves New York City. The last thing she wants is a relationship, but being Ethan's pretend girlfriend can't hurt, right? Wrong. With Ethan, there's no faking anything—in or out of the bedroom. With the sheets burning hot and the clock ticking on their arrangement, Rue realizes she's falling for a man guaranteed to derail her goals...and break her heart.

The Three-Week Arrangement is Book three in The Chase Brothers series by Sarah Ballance. It a sweet romantic read that features very likeable and passionate characters.

Rue is a heart-stopping, full of life kind of gal who goes after what she wants. She’s an assistant to a catalog photographer, but she truly wants to photograph the world for others to enjoy what she’s seen. She’s on a time table for her next assignment. When she’s being forced to attend a gala with a jerk, she names Ethan as her date to get out of it. Never expecting her mother to call his mother about the development, Rue has to come clean to Ethan.

Ethan is widowed and his family has been pressuring him to date again. When he meets Rue and she names him as her gala date, he figures they can help each other. She’s planning on leaving soon and their “dating” gets his family off his back for awhile. Easy peasy, right??

I liked how the author developed Rue and Ethan’s relationship. I love how Ethan was slow to realize that he really does like having Rue around. She was perfect for him. She was so vibrant and she gave him no chance. He couldn’t believe what he was feeling, but their chemistry was something that couldn’t be ignored. It was a slow burn as even though they both were developing feelings, they were slow to decide to indulge.

All in all we are treated to an opposites attract type of book and although they are so very different, they find a way to make it work. It’s an emotional rollercoaster of a ride, but its written well and very entertaining! I highly recommend reading it!
