Review: There’s Something About a Kilt by Schuyler L’Roux

It’s a hellaciously hot day in Minneapolis and all Thom wants to do is enjoy his ice cream and forget about the stacks of essays waiting for him back in his stifling apartment. Until he meets Gerry, a kilted, tattooed Welshman. The conversation is smooth and the attraction immediate, but Gerry is only in town for the night and isn’t down for anything quick and forgettable. When they meet again, hours later, Gerry knows there’s something in the air and all bets are off. Including his kilt.

What a hot little number this is!! Thom is minding his own business eating ice cream on an awfully hot day. Around the corner walks sex-on-a-stick Gerry. All tatted up, looking adorable, and sizzling dressed in a kilt! Thom can’t take his eyes off him!

When Gerry stops for ice cream, the two share some cute banter. The attraction is immediate, but Gerry is getting ready to catch a flight out of town. He’s not interested in a one and done so they chat a bit more and move on. When they end up meeting again at a nightclub, Gerry believes fate is telling him something and decides to throw caution to the wind! Thom won’t know what hit him!!

There’s Something About a Kilt is a splashy, quick read that’s best enjoyed between those long novels! It’s spicy hot and you can feel the attraction between Gerry and Thom! There wasn’t time for any long info sessions as these two get right to business! I loved it!! This is the first book by Schuyler L’Roux I have read-but it certainly won’t be the last! If you are a fan of M/M and hot guys in a kilt-look no further!! Pure yumminess!
