Review: To Dare A SEAL (Sin City SEALs #2) by Sara Jane Stone

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

One dare will bring him to his knees . . .

Playing best man in his teammate's Las Vegas wedding is not U.S. Navy SEAL Jack Barnes' idea of a vacation-especially when the maid-of-honor is the one woman who knows how to push his buttons. Now his teammates are taking bets on whether he'll end up in the fiery bartender's bed. Not one to turn away from a challenge, Jack vows to seduce Natalie Lewis. And he'll do so on his terms-demanding complete control.

The tantalizing SEAL may have a hand-over-your-panties smile and a body she'd love to explore, but there's no way Natalie's falling into his bed. No, she's going to get revenge. After bringing Jack to his knees with a series of Sin City dares, she'll walk away. It's the perfect plan-until it backfires. Beneath his devil-may-care attitude, Jack's unbridled desire proves irresistible. But he also requires the one thing Natalie can't give. Control.

To Dare a SEAL is book two in the Sin City SEALs series by Sara Jane Stone and it’s just as good as book one-To Tempt a SEAL! The whole SEAL group meets up in Las Vegas for Cade and Lucia’s wedding.  Prior to starting the wedding week of festivities, Jack Barnes accepts a bet featuring the sexy-as-sin bartender, maid of honor, and sister of the bride, Natalie. Natalie stars in all his fantasies, but she’s never shown any interest in him. Never mean but only cordial. Knowing she could be his undoing, he accepted the bet because he believes any taste of Natalie is better than none at all. Natalie on the other hand believes she can totally win this bet. She’s certain she can give Jack a series of dares that will bring him to his knees and then just leave. It’ll be perfect!

I really enjoyed reading this book.  Yes we have an idea how this plays out but I loved the journey getting there! Both are strong competitors and believe they can win.  If you have read book one about Lucia and Cade, you understand a bit more about Natalie, however you could totally read this as a standalone.  I would’ve enjoyed a bit more backstory about Jack though.  We get some and understand his upbringing, but a few flashbacks or stories told would’ve made him a bit more personable.  He was super sweet and he really was enamored with Natalie.  Given Natalie’s hang-ups, Jack definitely had his work cut out for him! The series of dares are unique and the fantasy stories are super sexy!

I would highly recommend this book and the Sin City SEALs series!  The stories are quick and very engaging. This one was solely focused on our main characters and the wedding was just the backdrop. The characters, I feel, are very relatable and I definitely wanted something good to happen for Jack and Natalie-they deserved it!
