Tate Warren has never met a woman he couldn’t charm—until now.
Wren Gallagher won’t give him the time of day and it’s making him crazy.
But he won’t give up without a fight… because there’s one thing he knows for sure:
Enemies make the best lovers.
Most women swoon over Tate’s devilish grin and firefighter uniform. But Wren couldn’t be less impressed by his good looks and flirtatious banter—in fact, she seems to downright despise him. She thinks he’s a player, but his attraction to her is no game. Wren is unlike anyone he’s ever known and he isn’t about to let the feisty, gorgeous woman slip through his fingers.
Wooing Wren would be so much easier if she didn’t hate him…
Or does she?

Wren and Tate have been circling around each other ever since he came into town and settled down. Wren knows his type. Love ‘em and leave ‘em, always wanting more but never having seconds. Just like her father. She refuses to budge an inch on her attraction or his infuriating way of getting under her skin. Now that her brothers have paired off with her best friends, she feels stuck and so alone. Tate offers her a timid friendship that soon takes off leaving them both wanting more-wanting it all.
This is the third book in the Wildwood series and all I can say is finally! The first two books it was hard for me to totally fall in love but I knew Wren and Tate were going to run off with my heart! She is the youngest sibling and a girl to boot. So she has always had people looking out for her thinking she can’t take care of herself. Tate is known for his player ways but is slowly growing tired of it. Wren is someone that he cannot shake his growing feelings for yet doesn’t truly want too.
I liked how this book started where the last ended with the arsonist still on the loose. His most recent target was Wren’s house. Tate will do whatever it takes to protect her and ultimately keep her. There was a point in the story that I wanted to smack Wren but I think every girl needs a freak out once in a while. Be prepared however for the abrupt ending. I totally thought that Torch was going to be the last but as it seems that this series is not done. If the next one is anything like this one, it is going to be awesome!
