The sixth book in the Horde Wars series is an intriguing and erotic paranormal read.

Grimm The Traveler walks between shadow and light, witnessed supernovae and the birth of galaxies, no part of the universe is bared to him save one, the woman he desires is always just beyond reach.  Having been a prisoner of the Daemon Horde, Raine’s mind is now shattered and her powers have grown exponentially but they are unpredictable and she her greatest fear is harming Grimm, the only one that matters to her, so she will do what it takes to protect him even if it means making a deal with the devil.  The only one capable of understanding Raine’s unique abilities, Lord Daemon is not to be trusted and for Raine to save her love and restore a universe in chaos, Raine must forge an alliance that will end the Horde War forever or empower Lord Daemon with might  immeasurable.

This steady to fast paced plot catches the reader in its story and doesn’t let go.  The author brings the story to life with vivid images and details that capture the imagination and the characters are strong and compelling.  The tension builds as Raine tries to regain her memories and learn to deal with her situation and the reader can’t help but feel for Raine as she seems so vulnerable even with her unique abilities.

The chemistry between Raine and Grimm explodes from the pages and the sex scenes are hot and steamy leaving the reader scorched.  The reader can’t help but get totally engrossed in the story as it unfolds with so much going on and the anticipation of how the drama will play out keeps the reader on the edge of their seat.

I must confess that I was a little confused during the story but this is probably because I haven’t read the previous books in the series. Overall, the story was an enjoyable read and the story concept is fascinating with intriguing characters.  Traveler's Kiss
