Review: Twofer by Daisy Harris

Bottoms up!

If a college freshman can’t get laid in sun-drenched Miami, he’s doing something wrong. Frankie Perez is determined to help his roommate get some man action in any way possible.

When Frankie’s arsenal of dating apps, fashion advice, and playing-hard-to-get lessons doesn’t work, he realizes Jeremy needs remedial help. Except tutoring Jeremy in the art of sex gets steamier than Frankie expected—and it scares the hell out of him.

Jeremy’s not sure why he’s wasting his time hooking up when he’s only got eyes for the slinky, sexy roommate he comes home to at night. But the hotter their chemistry simmers, the quicker Frankie dances away.

In near desperation, Frankie suggests the two of them team up to find a third to top them both, forgetting that two bottoms aren’t immune from lusting after each other. In a world where every man is an option, choosing one to love can be the sexiest risk of all.

Warning: Contains questionable morals, copious immature hijinks, an X-rated photo shoot, and disastrous threesomes. Sex toys were misused (but not harmed) in the making of this book.

“You can’t expect a relationship to work out with only two people. Sometimes you need to bring in outside help.”

That little gem of advice comes so late in the game but it is so appropriate for this book. It’s also in a conversation between Frankie and his Mami and it has absolutely nothing to do with Frankie and Jeremy’s relationship even though it has everything to do with their relationship.

Freshmen Jeremey and Frankie are enjoying college life at Miami Central University. They are roommates, close friends and complete opposites in every way you could possibly imagine. Frankie is outgoing, living life to the fullest, clubbing, and enjoying men when ever he wants. Jeremy was raised in a completely different environment and some of those ideas have followed him to Miami. He’s so much of a virgin that he has no clue how to even talk to a man he is attracted to much less come on to one seductively. Frankie sees the struggles that his friend has so he decides to do what any good friend would do. Frankie becomes Jeremy’s tutoring wingman.

Of course it not as simple as Frankie believed it would be. Things get complicated quickly especially when feelings get involved. Things would be easier if one or both of them were a little more versatile, but with two bottoms in one bed they soon decide they need a top to enjoy their offered Twofer.

I was nervous going into this Daisy Harris book. I’d read a review that left me feeling like Frankie and Jeremy were not in love and I wouldn’t get my needed happily ever after. Rest assured Daisy works her magic and makes sure these two sweet young men get a happily ever after that works for them. They work so hard at making their problems work that they end up having a lot of really fun sex, their way. I’d also love to know how the opposite worked out for Matt and Bruce. I can imagine that would be just as interesting of a read.
