This anthology of stories takes place during, of all ironic things, GayRomLit Convention at the Melia hotel. Each story revolves around one of the hotel employees and offers an erotic encounter, romance and a HEA. These hot quick stories offer at least one M/M sexual situation. I personally enjoyed how each story incorporates the characters from the other stories. All the authors did a splendid job of making this story flow seamlessly together. This is great book to read if you are looking for a bunch of quickie romances to read. Below you will find my personal impressions of each story. Happy reading!
‘Seeing Him’ by Carol Lynne
Down on his luck Beauty and the beast story. I’m always a sucker for the kind that say beauty is not skin deep. Very sweet and emotional.
‘Blown Away’ by Amber Kell
Lost love finds new love. That just makes my heart go pitter-patter. *Sigh* Love the description of the glasswork creation.
‘His Last Client’ by T.A. Chase
Pretty Woman (minus the shopping spree) meets CNN. Moves fast but is uplifting and hopeful.
‘Where Tomorrow Shines’ by Jambrea Jo Jones
A definite established May/December romance. Only Mr. December feels Mr. May can do better. Mr. May is out to prove him wrong and won’t give up without a fight!
‘Slippery When Wet’ by Stephani Hecht
Here we have a uber-sexy player and cute-dork comedy. Not sure if the author intended for this one to be funny, but it definitely had me in stitches. And I just have to thank Ms. Hecht for the best phrase in the book – ‘Spank-bank cake of yumminess.’
‘Out of Service’ by Devon Rhodes
Last but not least, we have the Wizard and Dorthy. I have to admit Esteban is my favorite character and I’m glad he got his own story. The all seeing, all knowing gets his man in the end.
