Living in Los Alamos, New Mexico, a small town already shrouded in secrecy, sixteen-year-old Travis Marshall’s life spiraled out of control the day his brother was killed in an accident. One year later, he struggles to make sense of his brother’s death, his father’s expectations and his parents’ divorce. When his father mysteriously goes missing and his own life is put in jeopardy, he discovers more than the truth behind the disappearance. In a race against time, aided by a group of teens with out-of-this-world power, he finds himself thrust into a dangerous, ancient, hidden war that threatens the fate of the world.

Loved this book!! It did start out a little slow for me but as you keep reading the story just sucks you in. The story redefines how humanity came about and also gives the world another great enemy to watch out for. I give the book 4 stars.

The storyline in this book was really enjoyable. Like I said it was a little slow in the beginning chapters but then the action really takes off once you get further into the story. There was a lot in this story to offer: mystery, murder, abductions, genetic experiments, supernatural powers and aliens.

The characters in this story were well developed and understandable. Travis grows as the story moves along. He is thrust into his father’s world who works as a geneticist in the local laboratory. His older brother, Will, was supposed to follow in his father’s footsteps but was killed in a car accident the year before. The new friends that Travis meets have unusual powers but as he is pulled further into their world he discovers that they are not the only ones. I also liked the fact that the author left Travis’s best friend Ryan in the story. He stood by his friend even though the odds were against them and most other people would have run for the hills.

By the end of the book I was more than ready to read the next one. I can’t wait to see how Travis handles the next hurdle in his life or where it takes him. This was a great start to a new series.

I don’t mind if a story starts out slowly. UNDISCLOSED does look like a great read.
