Review: Wet For Her Warriors (The WILD Boys Of Special Forces #5) by Angel Payne

The USA Today bestselling series continues! Tait, Kellan, and Lani’s story is here, set against Kauaˋi's lush beauty.

One of them healed her heart; the other captured her soul…

Tait Bommer’s call-sign, T-Bomb, has never described him more accurately. When he’s not pissing someone off or scaring them witless, he’s now the First Special Forces Group’s official loose cannon, responsible for a major screw-up on their most recent mission. His mess has earned him two weeks of mandated R&R on the shores of Kauai, where the ultimatum is clear: straighten his head or don’t return to active duty. But he’s such a train wreck that even his best friend, Kellan Rush, isn’t happy about having to pull babysitting duty.

When the guys find their "vacation" interrupted on by a stranger bearing nothing but a glare, a Bowie knife, and a lot of curves in a tiny bikini, they wonder if the trip hasn’t been hijacked by the island spirits—because surely they’ve found a goddess in the dark-haired beauty who not only sees their emotional scars, but opens their spirits by slowly exposing her own soul.

“Therapy” takes on magical new meaning when three illicit desires collide in nights of explosive passion…and their goddess’s sweet submission. Neither man wants to leave their island paradise, a torment that's intensified when an old adversary threatens to steal their goddess forever--and rip their friendship apart. Tait and Kellan must decide to let anger and jealousy triumph, or unite as brothers at arms for the most important mission of their lives, in the name of the greatest cause of all: saving the woman they love.

The fifth WILD Boys book is a thrilling and erotic read that keeps readers on the edge of their seat. Tait and Kellea are on mandated R&R on the shores of Kauai when their “vacation” is interrupted by a dark-haired goddess. She’s sees the their emotional scars and open their spirits and “therapy” takes on a whole new meaning with nights of explosive passion and the goddesses’ sweet submission. But then danger threatens to steal their goddess and rip their friendship apart forever. Can they put aside their anger and jealously and unite for the most important mission of their lives… saving the woman they love.

The fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps the adrenaline pumping with lots of suspense, action, drama and romance.  The author describes the scenes and events with well written words and details and well orchestrated and believable action that makes the reader feel as if they are a part of the story. The characters are strong, compelling and easily related to and grab the attention from the very beginning.

The attraction between Lani and the two men is red hot and the frequent sex scenes include anal sex and m/f/m scenes and light BDSM scorch the reader with its fiery intensity. The relationship has progresses at steady pace throughout the book as the first Lani has to come to terms with being attracted to two men and the two men have emotional scars that have to be healed.

Delicious spine tingling tension builds starts building from the very beginning and the action doesn’t slow down and with several things going on at a time, there is no chance for the reader to get bored.  Also the setting and using some of the heroine’s culture in the story adds depth and a little something extra to the story. I was caught up in the riveting story from the very beginning and thoroughly enjoyed it to the very end.
