Review: You’re Wrong: A Passionate Paranormal Romance (Bridesmaids, Weddings & Honeymoons #3) by Maggie Tideswell

Assumptions are invariably incorrect. Yet, people will stick with what they believe. Just as Rubi believed herself to me married for six years, until it was proven that she’d never been married at all. Finding herself a free agent again after years of waiting for her elusive husband, Rubi needed a man.

Upset by the echoes of her sordid past, Nathan walked into her life at precisely the right moment. Handsome, hot, and gay, he could only be a temporary distraction, or so she assumed. But what she didn’t take into account was that Nathan might have other plans for her. Even so, she wanted the real thing—a relationship, stability, and love—and Nathan couldn’t give that to her. Or so she assumed.

To prove her wrong about him, he abducted her and took her to the place where they first met, at Dane and Eloise’s wedding the week before. Back at the lodge, they find themselves in the same haunted room. Between the ghosts and Rubi’s insistence that he is gay, would Nathan succeed in changing her perception of him?

To add to her doubts, there’s also the matter of a certain secret he’s not ready to share.

You’re Wrong is book three in Maggie Tideswell’s Bridesmaids, Honeymoons, and Weddings series. It picks up right where book two-He’s Married-left off. Because of this, if you have not read book one-Runaway Couple, and book two-He’s Married, you will have no clue who these people are and what is going on. I highly recommend starting this series from the beginning. It is worth the time!!

Rubi has just received news that her marriage really never was. She’s been waiting for a man that was never to come. She’s in need of a man to make up for lost time! The first person she sees is Nathan. But she’s heard the rumors about this beautiful man. Why can’t she meet someone that is available?

When Nathan confronts Rubi with the rumors she’s heard, he’s bound and determined to prove her wrong. He abducts her and takes her back to the lodge where they met at Dane and Eloise’s wedding. Once there, they are in the same haunted room as the other couples were lodged previously. The ghosts that haunt that room, once again, make themselves known. CREEPY!! Rubi is scared out of her wits and Nathan is there to comfort her-and of course prove the rumors are wrong. But he reveals there is a secret that could have a disastrous effect on the budding relationship with Rubi. What is it and why is he afraid to tell her??

I enjoyed reading this third installment. The romantic story woven around the ghosts keeps you on your toes! I wanted to see what Nathan caught on film! I could feel the struggles of both characters-although I didn’t understand it at times. I have to say that Nathan quickly proved to me he wasn’t gay, so I didn’t get why Rubi had such a hard time with it. She also threw it in his face a number of times that I felt just didn’t click with her character. There was also some behavior by Nathan that had me scratching my head. He seemed to have a hot temper at times. We don’t know what caused him to have such a short fuse and I think it would’ve helped to know. It didn’t fit.

That being said, I did like the story and I loved finding out more about these ghosts! The stage was also set for book four-Paul and Lisa’s book, and finding out more about these ghosts! I look forward to that to release!
