The Billionaire’s Ink Mistress by Joely Sue Burkhart

His desire for her pierces deeper than skin. Billionaires in Bondage, Book 2

The Lawyer Jackson Montgomery Warring never lets opposing counsel see him sweat. Juggling a dozen billionaire clients on a daily basis, he’s always perfectly prepared, calm, cool and collected. Until he meets his best friend’s fiancée, the luscious Mistress L. Now he wants a Mistress for himself. Badly. Except the one who’s caught his eye is his complete opposite—a Goth-booted, tatted and pierced priestess of the local tattoo scene.

The Inker For over a year, Diana Temple has been too busy at her up-and-coming tattoo shop to throw one of her legendary BDSM parties. But for Jackson, she’ll make the time, especially since the slick, fancy lawyer admits he likes to watch.

The Secret If she thought her edgy style might turn him off, she’s happy to discover she’s wrong. But when she learns his secret addiction, she might refuse to teach him a thing or two about submission. Or maybe she’ll just punish him harder…

Warning: A rich, successful attorney in a downward spiral, a tattoo artist who happens to be a Mistress, a secret addiction and a peek at exhibitionism/voyeurism.

I absolutely adored this spicy, sweet, emotionally charged, and a bit kinky adventure! The Billionaire’s Ink Mistress is the second book in the Billionaires in Bondage series, but do not hesitate to read it as a standalone.

Jackson is a successful lawyer, but he lives life in his office, going from client to client, file to file, day after day. He has virtually no life outside of work. He drives himself so hard he has developed an addiction to speed to stay on top of everything that needs to be completed-every single day. He’s been pushing his body’s limits. Who needs sleep or food?? It’s always one more thing that he needs to do and the pills are what gets him through.

During a business meeting with his best friend, Donovan, he meets his fiancée who he finds out also is his Mistress. He is taken aback by the strong feelings she evokes from his friend, and even more surprised by his reaction to her himself! Lilly is sharp and sees that Jackson is in need of some serious help. She calls a friend whom she believes may be able to help him.

When Jackson meets Diana everything gray in his life turns to Technicolor! Their connection is off the charts hot and you can feel the chemistry. I think that scene when they first meet was flat out my favorite in the book! Joely Sue Burkhart wrote that scene so well I was holding my breath while reading it! The attitudes, the breathing, the nuances, were just awesome!

Diana is a bit wary of Jackson but she feels the connection too. She is no stranger to addiction and knows how it can rip someone apart, so she is inclined to help her Angel. But first, she has some rules that are non-negotiable. Diana is a strong and feisty dominatrix-a tattoo artist by trade. She is very confident with what she is and what she likes. She believes she tattoos peoples’ dreams and parts of her are represented in every creation. She is covered in tats and each one has a special meaning in her life. As she begins to help Jackson with his journey to being a submissive, she confesses some of her own insecurities and painful past. That’s when she realizes Jackson is different for her. I really enjoyed her and her fresh outlook on life!

There were some super sexy beginner bdsm scenes throughout this book. The scenes are very well written and gets you feeling all tingly! They are not hard-core so don’t be afraid if this isn’t your normal cup of tea. Diana is helping Jackson realize there is more to life than just work, and you must leave some time for play too! He is so dedicated to her-and he really can’t say why-we don’t question him wanting and embracing something different than he has ever known. He is tired of the old Jackson. He just knows Diana is what he wants. I found the story to be very invigorating having a female in charge and the billionaire the submissive. I was instantly in love with Diana and Jackson and couldn’t help but root for them! The Billionaire’s Ink Mistress was a 5 star read for me. It’s the first book I’ve read by Joely Sue Burkhart, but I most certainly will be reading more.
